Going live with Eurban

We’re really happy to be working with Eurban. This independent construction company specialises in the design, manufacture and assembly of solid timber structures. Established in 2003, they are pioneering timber as a viable alternative to concrete in the UK and beyond.

In designing and building their new website, we set out to highlight how Cross Laminated Timber is a green, reliable, dynamic building material; this valuable resource will prove hugely important within the construction industry over the coming years. As well as communicating the benefits of Cross Laminated Timber, we wanted to communicate Eurban’s unique level of experience and expertise on the subject.

With this in mind, we built a site that really gave some weight to the company’s history within the sector. We designed a bold website, which celebrated Eurban’s work over the past 15 years. When it came to usability, we ensured the site interaction was clear and simple through developing an elegant loading style. Furthermore, we placed an emphasis on the speed of delivery for each page.

Since solid timber structures are still challenging the conventions of building in the UK, it was important to dispel some of the myths around Cross Laminated Timber. We also worked to draw attention to Eurban’s in-depth knowledge and understanding of it as a safe, sustainable building material. In light of this, we built an Insights section, where Eurban could post articles, share essays and advertise events; this further establishes their position as thought leaders within the sector.
