Moke auction for Blue Marine

We recently had the opportunity to work on an amazing project with our chosen charity, Blue Marine.

The team at Blue Marine do an incredible job protecting our oceans and are always finding new ways to raise money and awareness for the cause. The Blue Marine auction is always a major event and brings together some of the most influential people in the world to raise money and discuss the challenges ahead. This year the charity partnered with the iconic Moke brand to deliver a show stopping auction item and we were only too happy to help.

Having the opportunity to work on the Moke was a dream come true. I can think of few vehicles that possess the same character and spirit as the Moke. Whether it’s Bond on the Riviera or Bardot in St Tropez it’s iconic form, is for me, ever associated with fun and glamour so forget your Bentley’s the electric Moke is the new benchmark for luxury.

The brief was to work with the team at Moke and create a unique Blue Marine edition of the iconic vehicle. We set to work looking at all the key finishes and created a coral inspired motif overlayed on the rich blue of the brand. We paired this with tan leather seats and teak wooden finishes to capture the nautical theme. We also commissioned a hand crafted wooden surf board to go with the vehicle again using the coral motif.

All in all the event was a huge success with £1.4m pledged to save our oceans, from the annual London to Monaco bike ride and the auction itself.
